Vintage Pink Milk Glass Vase by Fostoria - 1950s - Large Starburst Brazilian Pattern

$0.00

This large pink milk glass vase by Fostoria is decorated with starbursts, fans and geometric motifs and is called the 'Brazilian' or 'Cane Shield' pattern. Fostoria produced the pattern in colorless glass from 1898-1913, then reintroduced the design in the 1950s in milk and colored milk glass. The ovoid body has a broad mouth and nice weight, making it great for arranging flowers.

Measures about 6 1/2 inches high, 5 1/2 inches diameter through the body. Unmarked, 1950s.

Overall condition is good, with minor wear. There is a little roughness at the mold lines, but otherwise no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a small dark spot in the glass near the rim—see detail image.
