Vintage Cartier Sterling Silver Picture Frame, Classic Monogrammed Photo Frame

Vintage Cartier sterling silver rectangular picture frame with incised lines around the edge. The bottom edge of the frame is canted so that it will sit securely when upright. The opening will show a photo about 8 x 10 inches. Velvet-covered back and support. Monogrammed at bottom 'B.M.' Cartier marks, mid-20th century.

Measures about 11 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches overall. Opening measures 10 x 7 1/2 inches.

Overall condition is good with some wear and scratches to the silver, and some small dents around the perimeter (especially the top left corner). The velvet back shows wear, with some water staining to the support. The connector between the back and support is missing and has been replaced with a rust-colored ribbon.
