Vintage Dansk Fjord Serving Set - Large Spoon Fork Spork Teak Wood Handle - 11 Inch Larger Size

$290.00

Dansk teak-handled stainless serving spoon and spork in the Fjord pattern, designed by Jens Quistgaard in 1954. Early German production, both marked ‘Dansk Designs Germany IHQ’ with four ducks. Circa 1958.

This is the longer version of this design and each piece measures just under 11 inches long.

Overall condition is very good, with minor wear. The stainless steel is in good shape, showing minor wear; the spoon has some marks inside the bowl and the spork has a few spots along the shaft. The join at the wood handle is strong with no splits in the wood visible; a little darkening at the join. The plugs at the end of each piece are present and in very good shape. Natural variation in the color and figure of the wood.
