Dansk teak-handled stainless serving spoon and spork in the Fjord pattern, designed by Jens Quistgaard in 1954. With original box and insert (a message from designer Jens Quistgaard). Early German production, both marked ‘Dansk Designs Germany IHQ’. Circa 1960.

This is the longer version of this design and each piece measures just under 11 inches long.

Overall condition is very good, with minor wear. The stainless steel is in good shape, showing minor wear. The join at the wood handle is strong with no splits in the wood visible. The plugs at the end of each piece are present and in very good shape. Natural variation in the color and figure of the wood. The box shows wear, the losses to the color especially at the edges, tears and spits at the seams and corners.
