Tiffany Studios Gold Favrile Glass Vase, circa 1905

$0.00

This iridescent gold vase was produced by Tiffany Studios, circa 1905. The firm, headed by Louis Comfort Tiffany, created a wide range of glass in the early years of the 20th century. Patented under the name ‘Favrile’, Tiffany’s glass was often imitated, but the shapes and colors produced in their New York factory were never equaled.

Measures 8 1/2 inches high, 2 3/4 inches diameter across the mouth. The underside is engraved '8499C L.C. Tiffany - Favrile'.

Overall condition is good, with no chips or cracks. Minor wear to the iridescent surface at the top rim and around the broadest part of the vase; minor dirt on the interior.
