Pair of mid-century ceramic table lamps designed by Jane and Gordon Martz for Marshall Studios of Indiana. Each stoneware body has a warm, very dark gray glaze with hand-incised vertical lines. Each is hand-signed 'Martz' at back near the cord hole, one with UL Marshall Studios label on the underside.

Professionally rewired, with new linen shades (with the same dimensions as the unsalvageable originals).

Overall height with shade sitting on the socket is about 16 inches high, the diameter of the shade is 10 inches; ceramic base measures 9 inches high, 6 1/8 inches diameter across the base.

Overall condition of the bases is good, with no chips or cracks. There are some glaze pops, and minor nicks to the glaze at the incised lines, which was most likely done in production. Minor rust to the ring at the bottom of one of the sockets. The brown felt is replaced on the underside of one of the lamps.
