Mid-century ceramic and walnut bookends designed by Jane and Gordon Martz for Marshall Studios of Indiana. Each rectangular face is set with three circular tiles. Unsigned.

Measures 7 1/2 inches high, 5 inches wide, block is 1 inches deep, 4 1/4 inches deep overall.

Overall condition is good, with no chips or cracks to the tiles; minor surface wear to wood with a few small scratches and dents at the edges. Black foam material on underside of metal plate is worn. When standing on their own, each bookend leans forward a little, but they sit straight when holding books.
