English ceramic 'drabware' pitcher, circa 1840, in a matte, light ochre salt glaze, molded in the form of bamboo bound by rope. Unmarked, but likely made by the Ridgway family of potters in Staffordshire.

Overall condition is good with no chips, cracks or repairs. Minor variation in the molding and glaze.
