Set of Six Dansk Fjord Iced Tea Spoons, Made In Germany, circa 1960

$370.00

Set of Six Dansk teak-handled stainless steel iced tea spoons in the Fjord pattern, designed by Jens Quistgaard in 1954. A mid-century classic, this pattern is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art. Early production made in Germany, 1960s.

Measures 9 1/2 inches long. One with earlier four ducks mark, the other five with the ‘Made in Germany’ mark.

Overall condition is very good. Some very minor wear to the stainless steel. Natural variation in the color and figure of the teak handle. The plugs at the end of each handle are in good shape with no corrosion. There are no splits or losses to the teak, and the join is tight and secure. If you would like additional images or info, please let me know--I've handled a lot of Dansk and I am very picky about condition!

This flatware is NOT safe for use in dishwashers. I recommend rubbing the wood handles with a food-safe oil once or twice a year to keep them in top form.
